Who we are not

We are not an event site for any organizer. We are not affiliated with the Light Up Blue Ridge Committee, the Blue Ridge Railway (Blue Ridge Scenic Railway), The Art Center, the City of Blue Ridge, Fannin County or the Fannin County Chamber of Commerce. We do not sell tickets or take bookings. When we say something about an event, we say who published it, and we link to them so you can check.

How we check facts

  • Primary sources first. Dates, times and prices come from the organizer or operator: the Light Up Blue Ridge website, the railway’s website and booking system, the theater, The Art Center. Weather, population, elevation and sunset times come from NOAA, the Census Bureau, USGS and the U.S. Naval Observatory. Lake facts come from TVA and the Forest Service.
  • A checked date on every fact. Each sourced fact on the site shows when we last checked it. The first full check was October 17, 2026.
  • Three statuses. A confirmed fact comes straight from the organizer for 2026. Not yet confirmed means someone has listed it but the organizer has not. A 2025 value is last year’s, and we label it that way so it is never mistaken for this year’s.
  • Conflicts in the open. When two sources disagree, we say so and say which one we followed. Our dates-checked article lists where public listings differ.
  • Gaps stay gaps. If something has not been published, such as a 2026 parking plan, we say it is not out yet and tell you who to ask. We do not fill gaps with guesses.

How AI fits in

AI tools help us draft. People check every fact against its source before it publishes, and a person decides what goes live. If a sentence on this site does not match its source, that is our mistake to fix.

What we leave out

We do not list private home light displays, we do not rate or recommend lodging companies, and we do not publish home prices or market statistics. Photos are credited and captioned honestly about where and when they were taken; see photo credits.

Corrections

Found something wrong or out of date? Email info@goldpeachrealty.com with the page, what is wrong and, if you can, a link to the organizer’s page that shows the right detail. We check it against the source, fix the page and update the checked date. Event questions such as tickets, refunds or lost items belong with the organizer; the contact page lists their numbers.

The quickest way into the season is the holiday calendar. Our privacy policy explains what this site collects.
