This policy covers christmasinblueridge.com (“the site”), an independent holiday guide published as a Gold Peach Realty community guide. “We” and “us” mean Gold Peach Realty and the Christmas in Blue Ridge Editorial Team.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people read and which tools they use. To keep pages fast, the analytics script loads only after your first interaction with the page (a tap, scroll or key press) or a few seconds after the page finishes loading. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects information such as the pages you view, how you arrived, your general location, device and browser type, and events such as using the holiday planner or adding an event to a calendar. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings, or use Google’s browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.
Messages you send us
If you contact us through a form on the site or by email, we receive your name, email address and message. We use them only to reply and to fix anything you report. Messages go to info@goldpeachrealty.com. We do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask.
Trip picks and calendar files
- The “my trip” picks you make in the holiday planner are saved only in your own browser’s local storage. They are not sent to us. Clearing your browser’s site data removes them.
- Calendar (.ics) files are generated in your browser from the page you are on. We do not receive a copy. If you choose the Google Calendar option, the event details go to Google.
What we don’t do
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not run third-party advertising on the site.
Links to other sites
The site links to organizers, the railway, government agencies and other sources. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.
Children
The site is a general-audience travel guide. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Your choices and deletion requests
To ask what we hold about you, or to have your messages deleted, email info@goldpeachrealty.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. See also our terms of use and contact page.
